Building Inspiring Spaces
Our highly experienced staff has the know-how to ensure our clients are completely satisfied with the end result. For more than 20 years, Giannola Construction Services has served the Southwest Michigan region with outstanding services that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Starting as a small firm with a few employees doing the necessary remodeling work to support our property management operations, today we scale to meet project needs and keep a permanent staff of construction professionals on full time to meet the needs of a diverse customer base.
From area homes and small retail shops, to having successfully completed construction projects for some of our nation’s largest companies (some you visit frequently), we have the experience you need.
Meet Our Team
Michael Giannola | The Guy that just drives around in the truck.
Join us as we embark on this journey with Michael, guided by the spirit of home and the promise of a brighter future.
Michael’s journey into the world of construction began with the comedic grace of a baby giraffe taking its first steps. Armed with a hard hat that seemed to have a mind of its own and steel-toed boots that had a knack for causing chaos, he ventured onto the construction site of his childhood treehouse with the determination of a knight on a quest.
His initial encounter with a blueprint resembled more of a puzzling game of charades than a straightforward construction plan. But Michael’s determination knew no bounds. Armed with a ruler, crayons, and a quirky sense of direction, he navigated the maze of lines and symbols with unwavering resolve.
After earning his business degree and honing his skills in his uncle’s construction company, Michael set his sights on California with grand aspirations. Teaming up with a high school friend, they embarked on a journey that saw them transform a bathroom remodeling company into one of Southern California’s most sought-after firms.
But Michael’s thirst for adventure didn’t stop there. He delved into the realm of Storm Restoration, traversing the country to assist homeowners and businesses in the aftermath of nature’s fury. Climbing the ranks with gusto, he led a team to success before the call of home beckoned.
Returning to his roots, Michael embraced the opportunity to lead Giannola Construction into a new era. With a blend of nostalgia and excitement, he took the reins from his retiring uncle, ready to breathe new life into the family business.
Now at the helm of Giannola Construction, Michael’s vision is clear: to marry tradition with innovation, humor with professionalism. With a heart as sturdy as the structures he builds and a sense of humor that can light up a room, he’s charting a course for success that’s grounded in perseverance, passion, and a deep sense of community.
